I used to hang out with these guys in the late eighties. This anthology gives you many of the great songs fromthis band. But I still wish they would re-release Black and White... noone could replace Doug Oxford

I used to hang with the guys from Armada, too. Doug and I graduated HS together, and I was later the road manager for his band when he was solo. He's now married with two kids and living in Augusta, GA, and teaching guitar for a living. I generally see him once or twice a year. I've been after him for years to put some of his solo material onto CD. On a sadder note, I did see the other guys from Armada a little over a year ago for John Heald's memorial service.
