| Probably one of the essential mid 80s Melodic Hard Rock CCM releases around the same time Bloodgood, Messiah Prophet Band, etc. were just coming to root. Mansfield has a large catalog, but this is the one that will reach the Melodic Hard Rock fans.

| This is the best recording I've heard lately. All the songs are really good, and even though Darrell Mansfield is more blues-oriented, this is definitely a great melodic hard rock album. My favs, the opening song "Thunder 'N Lightning", "Bible Study", "Jesus Will Reign" and "Don't Let Them Stand In Your Way". Purposely, another great song from Mansfield comes from his third album: "Get Ready". Very recommended song.
