Even with the not-so-great production Arsenal's 'Armored Choir' is still one of my favorites, after all these years! Their music has enough of a 'metallic' edge to keep me pleased (...though it surely could've had more!), their message is excellent and encouraging, and Christine's voice is soaring and powerful! (The lady can sing!) What a shame Arsenal didn't continue. They certainly had the talent, and it would've been nice hearing more from this fine band! (Christine, KEEP SINGING!!!)

Correction: Arsenal let JD go and replaced him with Kevin Pike (G.I.T. graduate; guitarist extraordinaire). The band continued on as did Regency Records, who offered the group a second recording deal. Arsenal, with it's new line-up, decided to form it's own label. A year or two later Regency Records changed it's direction from music to other Christian outlets, as the Lord led them. The band changed it's name to Peace Child at one point, but continued to hold the rights to Arsenal. The members we

The members were as follows: Christine Steel-Vocals; Kevin Pike-Lead Guitar; Brien DeChristopher-Rhythm Guitar; Kandi Slaughter-Bass, and Scott Clarke-drums. Although the members have remained close friends. they have each gone their own way musically. Kevin & Christine continue to write, record and perform together.

The history of the band since JD Miller's departure seems to have many discrepancies. Brien DeChristopher & Kevin Pike joined Arsenal in 1992 and Arsenal continued to perform throughout the 90's around Florida with bands like Novella & Bride.

The msg, left on March 4, 2008 where it states the "vocals were too over powering" and he/she would "love to hear more guitar" was signed "Karen". Ironic since this is JD's wife's name. Nothing to do but pray for these folks. The battle is not ours. Vengeance is GODS. We love them and refuse to cause anyone harm. We pray the blessings of the LORD JESUS CHRIST upon them.

The comment left on Dec. 18, 2007, was pro-guitar, anti-singer, right?! The comment was left by K.E.M. ~ Karen E. Miller, JD's wife. Geeze louise! She also says, "J.D if you are out there give me a email, would love to see what your up too. daisytenn1@yahoo.com". What female puts their email on a public forum? Also, the Millers (Karen & JD) live in Tennessee "daisyTENN1@yahoo.com". Hmmmm, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...

SicSkinz1 3 years ago Ummm, not entirely true. Arsenal DID start with JD Miller and Chritine Steel. After JD left the band, he was replaced by Brien DeChristopher who entirely changed the sound of the band. The band continued as Arsenal for about seven years doing numerous shows around Florida. They changed the name to PeaceChild in just prior to disbanding in the late '90s. Brien now plays all lead and rhythm guitars for Agents Of Chaos.
