Without a doubt [in my tiny mind, at least] John's best solo album so far. The other two are competent, bordering on bland, AOR, but this one at least has some twists and turns that elevates it to a higher level. That's Why God Made the Moon is perhaps my favourite track here - beautiful, interesting, slightly complex.... sounds like me!

This is a top notch album. The theme of what Christ did for us is so intrinsically obvious. Musically, it is one of the best sounding Christian albums that I have heard. The songs are very well written and performed. John seems to follow the Kansas (minus violin+ cussing) style, yet I prefer his sound to Kansas. There are even a few funk styled songs on this lp. I am aware that it was slammed for sounding 80's; but this is real good stuff!'hello my good friend' from the mouth of Christ! #6 & #8
