Freshan effort by Jimmy and the boys. Very crunchy stuff. I get a lot of positive coments from nominal church kids when they hear Deliverance's speed version of 'Jehovah Jireh'

This is the best album I've ever heard! Every Metalhead must buy it! It has awesome riffs and rythms and the vocals have that typical classic thrash metal feel. It's even better then any Metallica album!

Great material from Deliverance. It's hard to find, but a very good classic metal album to check out!

A classic! I liked this one better than Weapons. The music is so raw here, but it cranks!! This record is full of Christian metal classics like Victory, No Time, The Call. But there are other great songs here like Deliverance, Blood of the Covenant and Awake (the scream at the end of Awake is amazing). Among D's older speed metal records, this is still the best IMO.

This was the album that taught me Christian metal was more than just hair bands. I couldn't believe how heavy this album was when I first heard it. 'Temporary Insanity' and 'Awake' are my two favorite Deliverance songs EVER. Of course, when KMG Records re-issued this and 'Weapons' on the same CD, they chopped those two songs off. That figures. I finally got the original version on CD now so it doesn't matter!

HAIL. This is the best DELIVERANCE album. Increible THRASH METAL. If i have to deicide between this White metal band DELIVERANCE or the Satanic one from the U.K, i will take the White ones, but only this album, and 'Weapons of our warfare', because the rest of there albumes are totaly shit to me.

Arguably my favorite band and favorite album of all time! Jimmy Brown really knew how to write a riff in his speed metal days, and the man could sing and play! Really love the middle section of If You Will as it just rips along and then plunges back into the opening riff. YES! MUST HAVE! Favorite tracks: all of them!

Speed metal at it's finest! Can't say enough good things about this one! Faster for the Master and all that jive!

Oh man, this album rocks!!! There are a few songs that really remind me of Metallica. 'No Time' reminds me of the ending of Fade to Black with an opening riff similar to that of Ride the Lightning, 'The Call' reminds me of Ride the Lightning, and 'Blood of the Covenant' sounds like Battery meets The Four Horsemen. Every song on this album is blazing thrash metal with empowering lyrics and energizing music. That's what I love about Christian metal. Basically, if you don't have this CD, GET IT!!!!

This is by far the best Deliverance has to offer very explosive guitars great rythm. This band has changed on every cd they have put out so it's hard to compare this one with Learn. I thinks 'weapons' is even heavier than this one. No matter buy them all I did. They rock for the rock!!
From: Garth   ( Date: June 27, 2007 at 0:38 or feel free to reply - deliverance-deliverance was not my first christian metal experience, having heard stryper, bloodgood, and barren cross (who are all great), but I was blown away by a christian band that had already done what I wanted to do. the KMD does not do justice to the original and leaves off a couple trax, so if anyone out there has the album, I would appreciate it if you would drop me a line. I have a vast library, so maybe we could trad
