There's something about Christian rock bands from Scandinavia: They just can't bring it home. I've been burned by Leviticus, Narnia, XT, and so on. My question is always, 'Where's the pay off? It's all pop with no fizz.' Same here. The Nikolausson brothers shine on drums and guitars. The singing's okay. But, there's no pay off; there's nothing you'll find yourself humming later. Ironically, the CD case's liner admits the band never made it big and wonders why? Listen to the CD.

OK Narnia is pop.OK XT is pop.OK Charizma is pop.Have you ever listened to early Leviticus.I Shall Conquer, and the Strongest Power are so heavy they scare me.You have to listen to more than one album to judge. P.S.Setting Fire isn't as hard as the first two but it ROCKS!!!!

Ok I read your review on ' Leviticus' ,'I shall conquer',you did not like it.You can not say it is pop.It is a slow plodding heavy. The production is bad but have you listened to 'Setting Fire To The Earth'?It is one of the best Christian albums ever in my opinion. It is all opinion,so if you hear or have heard it it,it is all cool whether you liked it or not.

'Pop' and 'fizz' as in carbonation--not Pop Music. Check out the idiomatic use of the word in your dictionary.

Very good album with good melodies on it. Not the best but is good music to listen. My favs songs are Free From The World, God Bless Rock N'Roll, Turn Me On and Guardian Angels.
