This is an almost forgotten heavy metal gem. Armageddon only released this one album, before dissapearing. Good American power metal!

Turns out that these guys are still around! They'll maybe put some new stuff out soon.

Anyone who has this album - Do the liner notes say where it was recorded? I recall my church doing a recording session for a band of (as I remember) this name, and wonder if this is them. TIA, dt.

This is a fantastic Heavy Metal band in the same vein as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. From the penetrating 'wuh' of the opening track to the 'Master of D-aw-kness' in Nightlight to the backmasked lyrics on We're Outta Here--THIS is classic Heavy Metal! Brilliant! An unknown classic which gets ignored by dilletantes who think it has too many hooks. The lead singer, Mike Vance, was in jail for a few years on double-unarmed robbery; so, I presume the band's gone for good. Too bad.

Just got it in today, and it smokes to say the least! As good if not better than Saint in the classic metal genre. Some occasional vocal harmonies in choruses that make me think of Queen, which is a little odd but it works. Ripping axework ranging from mid-paced heavy metal to blazing thrashy riffing. Cool, rough real metal vocals. Kinda hard to find, but definitely get it if you get the chance. Favorite tracks: More Than Conquerors, Blazing Wasteland, Nightlight, We're Outa' Here.

This cd burns with intensity, integrity and some worthwhile neck wrenching riffs. I hear there may be a possible new project in the works whch will include some remakes from the Second Chance demos. WHOAH!!!! Anyone who can get their hands on the Money Mask cd wil be massively rocked!

Excellent classic metal CD in the tradition of Judas Priest. Several standout cuts including the title track, 'More Than Conquerors,' 'Mercenaries of Unjustice,' 'Blazing Wasteland' and 'Nightlight.' Some of the guitar work on this album is actually quite stunning. The vox have a slight similarity to Jon Olive (Savatage)

Fantastic metal album. Full of crunchy riffs, pounding drums, nice vocal work and shredding solos. Any fan of classic heavy metal would be doing themselves a favor by picking this album up.

I found this cd on a used cd rack at a local christian bookstore for only six dollars. this ce rocks. Nothing but straight in your face heavy metal. But it's even better because its anointed with the spirit of Christ. If any of you have this cd or others like messiah prophet or barron cross etc. please don't give them away. Some lost headbanger needs to here Jesus this way. Garrick Aka Minister Of Metal

I have always dug this band, even when they were Second Chance. This is classic power metal. They put out only one full length album (cd), but it is metal. If you are able, grab this one.

Picked up the retroactive records re-release. This is a solid, classic heavy metal album. Good hooks. Fans of Saint and Barren Cross should eat this stuff up. 9/10

This record truly rips, it dosnt even sound like 1989 more like 84 or 85. So many great lyrics with awesome messages. As someone said above, Mike Vance does have a strong vocal resemblance to Jon Oliva of the great Savatage.

Hard-hitting, classic heavy metal, Armageddon's "The Money Mask" has it ALL: powerful, soaring vocals; a pounding rhythm section; a double guitar attack that commands your attention; and a great Christian message that is obvious, but shouldn't have non-believers feeling like they're getting the Bible rammed down their throat! Armor up, Christian Warriors, and remember: "We're more than conquerors!!!" A very talented band, and a powerful Christian metal album, indeed!!!
