These guys floored me! Sure, the lead singer's style is derivative of Metallica - but, the music's not. ED's carving out its own niche in the Heavy/Speed genre in the vein of the 'Kings of Metal'; but, they're not carbon copies. The singing can get lost in the guitars sometimes, and there are a little too many songs on this CD. Still, this is great pounding, shredding, & technical music with Christ-centered lyrics.

This is a good album. Great music and lyrics. The drum triggers are kind of annoying...real drums would have made it even better. I'd say these guys are heavy metal...not speed/thrash. Check 'em out, they're a good band to have in your collection.

ED is snappy, speed metal with a a groove. Vocalist Joe Chambless has spent a lot of time studying his Metallica albums as he sounds very similar to James Hetfield. Perhaps this is why the band has been labeled a Metallica clone, even though their music is not really that Metallica-like. The production is very digital sounding, right down to the triggered drums and guitars that sound like they are recorded direct, rather than through an amp. Still, I love this disc. http://www.nolifetilmetal.com

The Song Hunger , The Search , Turn , Things I Say are Excellent . These are my 4 favorite tunes on this album . These guys should get better the more music they make . The NEW ED3 album is great to . They do not have it listed on this site , Is there any reason for that . I noticed on Music sites I go to everyone thinks the Song Hunger is a RARE Metallica track . Its dead on Metallica so some are fooled but not me . This Album Rocks

I bought in russia album 'st. anger', but when i watched 'st. anger', metallica-video, i got impressed: i have not this song in my album!!! This album wasnt original, and now i thing i bought album 'eternal decision' (i have song 'hunger', and the rest--i dont know. who has the lyrics?) under the title st.anger, metallica. if this is true--eternal decision fuckin rules!

I want to say, Eternal Decision, is one of my favorate (Christian) bands around. Before I was saved, I loved Metallica, Rob Zombie and Type O Negative...Now, I listen to Christ centered rockers such as Eternal Decision, Stryper, Deliverance, Project 86 to only name a few. If you think that Christians can't rock...your wrong...We can. Rock on my Christian bros and keep the faith. Love in Christ.

Excellent album through and through. I too heard Hunger for the first time and had to get this CD. I have all 3 of their albums and they all 3 ROCK!!! Each album is a bit different, but that is what makes them great in my books. Most bands are boring and don't take risks in their music. We need E.D. III on this site too. Can't wait until more music is released by this incredible band. Metal!!!

alright album, the guitars are very crunchy. They say the drumming is recorded without triggers but they still sound very digital. I did not like the vocals but old news there because I never really got into James Hetfield's vocal style or Metallica as a whole for that matter. 7/10

Okay, after a couple of more spins the album kind of grew on me. There are actually quite a few brilliant moments on this disc that I overlooked on the first listen. There are many hooks throughout, like someone else said above I wouldnt really label it speed/thrash. I guess they deserve more like a 8/8.5 out of 10. One thing though if they could put together some tighter guitar solos Eternal Decision would have it made.

Pantera meets Metallica with Christian lyrics. Good CD. Production is a little stiff and digital sounding. The drums are obviously programmed or triggered and the guitars sound processed. Still, the songs are good and the overall feel of the CD is enjoyable. My favorite of the three ED CDs. I have a different cover than that one posted above.
