With distinctive vocals and killer music this obscure album is a fine addition to any collection. Listen for Dale Thompson's signature screams in 'Sin City', he also did the 'Introduction to Hyprocrisy' This album is very solid with good lyrics. Unfortunately this is there only album. Very sad. Very fun album. The bassist, Steve Curtsinger, went on to play on at least two Bride albums. 'Drop' and 'The Jesus Experience'.

One album? Why? Theses guys are good! I especially dig the guitar intro on 'Sin City'. Great work guys! Now, where did you go?

I liked the music, but the vocals make me sick. They are so bad. The lyrics are solid, the music rocks, but when you don't have a good singer, it just ruins the whole thing.

Hi, don't know if any of you heard the album 'no mean city' by Nazareth (a non christian band) but one I heard this album (Killed by Cane) I thought they sounded just like Nazareth on the album 'no mean city'. any thoughts ??

I agree with Tom.The album shreds but the vocals are off key and not very good.

Guns n Roses vs. Danzig -- sorry the vocals does not work with this kind of metal even though it is a good album. I had this one and blasted it but Dale, if you still do this band -- don't do a high scream over this kind of metal. 'Burn the Church' was basically the track that reminded me of 'Mother.'

Dale Thompson from Bride does the Intro..., so right there it sets well with me. I don't mind the vocals so much, some don't like them. One comment was that they are off key, but I don't think they are. Raspy is the best way to put it. The guy sounds like he smokes 20 packs a day. Regardless, the music is great and for some reason they never did any more albums. Maybe he lost his voice?!

This is a classic album! Dale Thompson from Bride also produced this album. Not only did Steve Curtsinger go on to play in Bride, but Stephan Roland also played in Bride for awhile, so this cd, IMHO, has some Bride influence in their sound.
