That´s the one of the most great bands in metal.
From: Richard   (IP unknown) Date: July 28, 2001 at 23:21
This is a must have for any fans of heavy Christian thrash! The tunes are heavy and the guitar work is original and awesome. These British thrashers ruled the genre during their all too brief two album career.

Good stuff, but not as good as The Torment. Gets a little repetitive at times and a little too doomy at others. Barring that, still a great thrash album. Try to find it at a decent price though. I've not seen it anywhere except Ebay for less than $30 (ouch!).

I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY OF BEING A 'PEN-PAL' WITH IAN ARKLEY SOME YEARS AGO, BEFORE HE FORMED ASHEN MORTALITY, AND I CAN SAY THAT THIS GUY WAS AN INCREDIBLE PERSON AND AN INCREDIBLE MUSICIAN! THIS ALBUM SHOW HOW FAR A BAND CAN GO WHEN THEY HAVE TALENT!IN THIS ALBUM YOU CAN FIND REALISTIC LYRICS, AGGRESSIVE GUITARS AND A GRINDING VOICE WITH A DEPRESSIVE FEELING.IT'S A GREAT ALBUM, A CLASSIC METAL MASTERPIECE!I REALLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO BUY IT!SINCERELY, ronald@yahoo.es GREETINGS FROM COSTA RICA!

This band has it's own unique sound and it's awsome. There acoustic playing goes unmatched. It's sad it's over after two albums. Not real upbeat music but look at the times. Two thumbs up a must have for any Christian metal fan.

This is in response to Hugh. Are you stating that the e-mails & e-mailers to this band or any other band, according to the scripture verse you enterred-in, are in fact worshipping the bands? I hope not because when I read comments that help support bands like these and others and hear countless others talk about how great it is to have song lyrics that glorify Jesus and give personal testamony about becoming a Christian, it makes me happy to know, hear and read about people coming to Christ with

A straight-up must have for the thrash enthusiasts collection. This is a perfect blending of genres, melding elements of goth to thrash metal. Heres an example of music before metal bands got all caught up in egos and images and this whole pop-metal/emo scene. Buy this album and stay hard.
From: David G.   (---.fixed.kpn.net) Date: July 14, 2020 at 17:48
‘Lament for the weary’ will be my personal favourite album ever. The sound, the atmosphere, everything is just incredible. Can’t get enough of it.
