| A bit disappointing. The musicianship is very good, don't get me wrong. But the songs are just not that enjoyable to listen to. An Axe To Grind had accessible, easy, rocking tunes that you could grab hold of and sing along with in the car going 80 mph. There is hardly any of that here. This is a musician's record. And that's a shame. Tamplin's best strength is his accessibility in his music. This record doesn't hit that standard. I would not recommend this record.
