This is exactly what I was expecting. Those familiar with Michael Sweet's 'Truth' or the two new songs on Stryper's '7-The Best of' already have an idea of the direction the band is taking. Despite the more modern direction, there are still hints of the old Stryper, mostly in the vocal melodies of Sweet. The person who said the 'melodic approach if gone' hasn't a clue. Yes, this is a different Stryper, but this is still very melodic. Heavier? No. Their best? Probably not, but still a decent CD.

I'm curious how this CD can have 60 votes and no comments! Me thinks someone is munipulating the system a bit. This CD is good, but no where near the 9.18 it currently has. I'd rate it around a 7 or 8.

I think it is a very good return from the band. I have to quickly say that I like the cover shown here MUCH better than the 4 slimy guys cover I have. The music here is quite catchy at points and mediocre in other spots. However, where the music is mediocre, the singing is excellent. Everyone has their gripes about this album, but the songs have good hooks, the guitars are solid, and the songwriting is good. I must also mention the STANDOUT drum performance!! Robert's best work ever.

After coming to know Christ as my Savior, Stryper was my first Christian concert. And I was greatly encouraged from their music (coming out of satanism, STRYPER kicks it wide open to preach Christ and His power over the evil one very boldly. I love these guys for helping to live a bold faith in God! Thanks, Michael, Robert, Tim, & Oz!

I dunno... I found this one disappointing, especially after waiting fifteen years (!) for new material. "Open Your Eyes" is a catchy opener but unfortunately it was all downhill from there for me till the re-tread of "In God We Trust" that ends the CD. I'm bummed, I had much higher hopes for this disc.

I agree with ya dear Fat Freedy.Quite dissapointing for a band that ruled the 80's.There is not a particular song that caught my attention.Let's wait 'til next release?.

This CD Wasn't What Got Me Hooked On Stryper. I Loved The Duo Guitar Solo's Between Oz & Mike. I Also Liked The Highed Pitched Screams. There Are Some Screams, But Not High Pitched. And The Guitars Don't Sound Like Stryper. I Liked The 80's Music Better So Far. But I Hope Their New Release Will Prove Me Wrong!!! Stryper Roxx!!!

Thanks for helping me to attain new strategies about desktops. I also have belief that one of the best ways to keep your notebook in leading condition is by using a hard plastic material case, or maybe shell, which fits over the top of your computer. These types of protective gear will be model precise since they are made to fit perfectly within the natural casing. You can buy them directly from the seller, or through third party places if they are for your notebook, however only a few laptop wi
