First record with John Schlitt singing. Very, very 80's sounding -- which is why I like it!

I remember when this album came out. I was still riding on Beat The System and hearing that Greg left the band. After hearing a couple of the tracks on this album, I knew that they were going to take a much different direction with John on the lead. They were to get heavier, but still have the same great message. Another Crossroad and Shakin the House are great rock tracks. I lvoe that style, although I wish the album was produced with more excitement. Sounds kind of dull if you compare.

I LOVE THIS ALBUM!! Great songs, good production, total package. I didn't like the follow up This Means War..too key-boardy...is that a word? Peace

Great album, great debut of jonh schlitt like vocalist, very melodic. This is a solid 80's rock album with You Are I Am and Shakin'The House like the highligths of the album personally.

Petra is my all time favorite band period. John Schlitt is a great singer, and people like louie Weaver, Bob hartman are awesome. I was only 6 years old when this album was released, but i am still into the 80's rock sound big time. i love every song on this album. On the FOX rock rating scale, this album is a 10, petrafreak@hotmail.com is my email address, ;you think i love petra? lol FOX
