An under-rated band. Very good metal. Not real heavy, more melodic and artistic. This CD is kind of hard to find, it's worth getting though. I think these guys might have been bigger had they come out before 1991. kevensyle@netscape.net

A classic in my mind. Pagano's vocals are above the pack on this release. The guitar work is crunchy when appropriate, but subtle at other times. This is not a metal record, but more of a great rock record. This is one of those CD's that when you are listening to it, you find your mind wandering (in a good sense). The music gets ethereal in places. I consider this a must-have for CCM/rock fans.

A great album from a very talented group of Musicians. 'One Big Sky' may well be the best Christian Rock record ever. It has always been my PERSONAL favorite Christian Cd since I first listened to it back in 1991. I would like to know whatever happened to these guys and if any of them ever went on to play in any other Bands. If you are new to Christian Rock this is the album that I would definately Recommend Buying if you can find it.

This album was very well done.I agree with kevensyle that their timing was bad and the fact that they were pop Metal. If you are into 'Jouney' with a little more edge give this band a try.'Running Home' is worth the price of the cd or tape.

The first time I heard them I thought of Journey. This is a great album that is worth buying. My favorite song is 'Fire Eyes', which is done very well. All songs are great. The album will fool you at first due to the fact that the album opens with strings playing the lead in to the first song. But once the songs gets started there is no denying it is goingot be good.

Seldom have Christian bands reached this level of quality. This project could easily have competed with any AOR/Hard Rock outfit in the non-Christian market. The singer's voice is perfect for this style of music. The guitars are crunchy. The melodies are soaring at times. The lyrics are among the most thoughtful and inspiring as can be found in rock. This band had it all and every song, every song!, on this disc is a winner. Guaranteed you will like this album if you like AOR/Hard Rock.

This is pure, ear-to-ear grin inducing FUN all the way through! And, more than that, it is very, VERY high QUALITY fun! Musically, it breaks no new ground, and some may find it's style slightly hard to stomach, however for those amongst us who enjoy their music melodic, proud, crunchy-sweet and LOUD this is 100 0.000000E+00SSENTIAL! I always get a bit wary when I see eBay prices for used CDs rise above $10, however in this case - BUY BUY BABY BUY BUY!

Just found this and though I prefer the harder bands like Stop The Bleeding era Tourniquette but this is really good. It does have that Journey/Bon Jovi vibe throughout but still it's a decent record that could have stood toe to toe with any of the AOR bands of the early nineties. Great album that I highly recommend.

Phenomenal album. Even in 2019, the musicianship holds up well. These guys were seriously underrated and now's the time to rekindle the fire that is Novella. Album Favorites: Fire Eyes, Do We Jjust Surrender. Hits: Running Home, Give Me Love
