This is one of my favorite Christian Rock albums ever....If you've never heard it, you should! I just wish that they would have released more than two albums

I had a tape that had both of there albums on it. Unfortunately I haven't seen it in years. But I remember them fondly. Good lyrics, good sound. Solid albums.

A very solid follow-up to One Big Sky. The guitars get a little less crunchy here than on OBS. But the songwriting is just top-notch. The lyrics on this record are very good. Heaven's On My Mind has had me in tears thinking about God and the eternal home He is preparing for us. Right In The Middle is another standout track. There is not a bad song on this record. Novella was one of the most promising young bands out there; its a shame they had to call it quits after only two records.

Doesn't quite match the pure fun of their first album. Seems like they wanted to do something a bit different, but never really decided WHAT. Slightly progressive here, a bit more mainstream pop-rock there, maybe even a hint of blues... It all makes for a highly interesting and worthwhile album, but it lacks the delightful 'in-your-face and up-yours-if-you-don't-like-it' sparkle of One Big Sky. Still - snap it up if you can find it for a sensible price! 9/10.
