Yes...a great metal album...and this was their only album, too. Kind of like Novella, they came out too late for the metal scene. kevensyle@netscape.net

Just to let you know, the band Love Life is the same band before they changed the name to Fear Not. They also released an album on the Blonde Vinyl label 'Goodbye Lady Jane.' Fear Not is one of my favorite albums.

I think the comparisons to Skid Row are a bit over the top. This record, while pretty good, is nothing more than another Elephante-produced super-clean, big BGV hard rock record. It sounds almost the same as many other releases produced by the Elephantes in that time period (see The Brave's first record, X-Sinner's second record, Mastedon's second record, Petra 'Beyond Belief', etc.). Everything they did had a definitive sound and this one's no different. All that being said, it does rock!!

One of my most favorite CD's in Christian hard rock! Larry Worley's voice belts out major attitude, and the music just drives! Even the ballads are intense. For me, there's not a disappointing track on the entire album! 10/10
From: Chad   (IP unknown) Date: April 16, 2003 at 2:40
I am so sorry I waited so long to get this one!!!! This CD is polished heavy metal / hard rock and full of energy. Skid Row??? Maybe somewhat but this guys remind me of another band that escapes me at the moment...Anyway if you don't have this one GO GET IT KNOW!!! You'll be glad you did

I liked Larry Worley in Lovelife, but I love him on this album! Much better than his previous project. If nothing else, buy it for the vocals. Very good album.
From: Salomonkey   (IP unknown) Date: June 26, 2004 at 21:36
Excellent album, the first song rocks but the entire album is great. A must to have.
From: Mery M of OK   (IP unknown) Date: September 5, 2004 at 5:54
I know Larry. He's such a great guy. I think its awsome he was in this band. There's a Fear Not poster up at work. Not only is he very talented he is a very kind person.
From: Gr8 Site   (---.calvin.edu) Date: February 1, 2005 at 20:20
It's a shame these guys parted ways after their only album, they sure had talent! The skip button is not needed here, and you should get this album if you like anything Christian rock.
From: Dman   (---.columbus.res.rr.com) Date: November 19, 2005 at 1:01
Larry Worley's vocals are great, but I haven't seen one mention of Chris Howell's superb playing and Rod and Gary's thumping rhythms. One of Christian rock's best at the top of their game. I had the cassette, but ended up finding the c.d. on EBay for $2.99.

those guys rock big time dude how you like em 110 out of 100

I lost my cd for Fear Not about 6 months ago. Any ideas where I can get another? I have exhausted my efforts. I found it on cassette, but that does me no good now.

I got this tape for christmas in 1993 I think. Fear Not got me in to Christian music. I love this c.d. Wish they do more.

There were too many bands like this in the 90's- average at best. There is a reason they made only one album, they are not good! Pakaderm had some nice porduction but the songs are just not good. Ok Give it up is OK but the rest are just, bland. Also the album cover gets an f-. Total failure. Whats with the girly colors and hippy font?
From: Devin   (---.ok.ok.cox.net) Date: July 13, 2010 at 16:32
Been almost a year since anyone posted on here but let me tell ya rexreed, you have only served to show us all how little you truly know about music. This album is anything but bland and as far as the lyrics go... Man they are some powerful stuff. Great writing. My favorite on this CD would have to be, 'We have a God' but there is not one stinker on the whole album. GREAT JOB!!! Let me know when the reunion is. Ill buy tickets!!!!
From: RantTheWorld   (---.) Date: September 23, 2010 at 1:54
Devin I Agree..REXREED is tone deaf and hates rock. Bland??? are you kidding me, this band did not blend in at all. The reason they only had one album is Christian Rock was NOT well accepted and parents felt is was no different than secular bands.
From: `A   (---.pr.shawcable.net) Date: December 26, 2010 at 1:51
this band rocks better than skid row and the movie rock star playing walberg guy, tried stealing suicide sunshine and changed the version.

ALSO THE LEAD SINGER IS BETTER OFF HAVING A BLAST THAN THOSE WHO ARE JUST JEALOUS OF HIS VOICE WISHING THEY HAD A VOICE TOO.HA HA HA......ROCK ON LARRY WORLEY
From: joeyjam   (---.war.clearwire-wmx.net) Date: June 25, 2011 at 22:19
Haha...some funny comments in here. The album cover was pretty lame, but these guys had a real good sound. 3 or 4 songs were incredible and the rest were just so so. I did like these guys back in the day but they just disappeared...oh well.
From: TerminateYou   (---.dhcp.eucl.wi.charter.com) Date: April 8, 2013 at 2:06
I had this album on cassette and became a Fear Not ADDICT!! I could not get enough of it. The Elefante's did an AWESOME job with this. Larry Worley's lead vocals drive it hard with a cool Rock tone followed by molten-ROCK guitars and a secure rhythm section. I now have this on CD and it is a PRIZED possession. I also have a fear Not Live at Cornerstone concert on VHS. User 'Rexreed' calls this album not good? I call you CLUELESS, you degenerated sperm-burp! FearNot, Angelica and Lovewar !!!
From: Flowride   (---.socal.res.rr.com) Date: February 17, 2014 at 22:04
Truly one of the best 80's style metal albums out there-Christian or otherwise. It's probably the only band whose sound and songwriting was on par with the venerable Stryper. One of my definite top 10 albums of all time and it's sad they only made the one. Love, love, LOVE it!
From: Oklahoma Girl   (---.243.29.71.dynamic.ip.windstream.net) Date: May 6, 2014 at 19:24
Larry is awesome, he is the sweetest man you will honestly ever meet. I have known him for about a year now and no matter how sick he feels he always gives you a smile and a word of pure wisdom.

WHAT CAN I SAY VERY GOOD GLAM CHRISTIAN BAND!
From: Paul worley   (---.tu.ok.cox.net) Date: December 23, 2015 at 19:23
I'm Paul Worley, my dad is the vocals and guitar player. And wrote all the lyrics. He's the best and everyone is just jealous of his amazing voice and there are reasons why they only made one cd, and the album picture is awesome. You don't know what creativity is if you disagree. And oh yeah The Lyrics, straight from his head, and very truthful, people be hating because they can't write lyrics and play the guitar and sing and produce all at the same time. My Dad is a blessing from God. The most
From: Fear Not Fan   (---.austin.res.rr.com) Date: July 11, 2017 at 18:37
Hi Paul Worley, thanks for commenting! I just discovered your dad's band in 2017. I know right? Amazing. I sure wish he'd make another album. We all do. God bless him, and you, and everyone who supports Fear Not!

I was raised in a christian household and was obsessed with this album as a kid. I now consider myself agnostic but rediscovered this album. I love it so much I can't listen to anything else right now!!!!!! Every song is compulsively listenable!!!! I wish I still had my cassette of this. Lucky for me an awesome person uploaded the full album to youtube. It's a great time to be alive!

A good friend turned me on to this album in the late 1990s. He liked Christian music, I loved heavy metal. I'm Christian, however, my love of music means no boundaries. This CD is still in the top drawer of my CD cabinet. As obsolete as CDs are today, this is and will remain a top shelf pick for me. It's a winner all around for music and vocals. And if you can FEEL your music, it's even better with the messages it gives. Would be nice if the local Christian stations had a copy. Fear Not ROCKS!!!
