If you like BC don't miss this one. There is a great little bass solo in there somewhere, the whole CD is worth listening to just to hear it.

Yeah, this is a pretty good live CD and I usually hate live metal stuff. The song Rock For The King moves faster here in the live setting than on the studio version which really helps it. Good record!

I don't care for live albums either, but this one wasn't that bad. Worth a listen at least once for Barren Cross fans....

You gotta hand it to Barren Cross, there weren't very many 'live' metal albums released back then. It's a good album and practically 74 minutes long...plus it has two songs that aren't on any of their other CDs.

I generally don't go out of my way to pick up live albums, but I had to find this one as B.C. is simply one of my favorite bands EVER. 'Hotter Than Hell' is a decent (but not spectacular) live recording that was probably released simply to fulfill their record contract, because the band was just about broken up by the time it was released. The band sounds fine, and there are two 'exclusive' songs, so for the diehard BC fan this is a decent purchase. Casual fans probably won't want to bother tho.
