This cd is awsome. If your into Petra this album has some of their best songs they ever wrote on it. You won't be dissapointed.

This was the CD that Petra finally made the much needed departure from their traditional sound. This CD is pretty good. If you like AC/DC, you'd like this record. Its not that heavy (esp. the drums), but it has a similar feel. The lyrics here are some of Petra's best (except Just Reach Out - nice message, but the words are just too formulaic: haze and daze rhymed again for the 42nd time in Petra's history!). Favorites include: Midnight Oil, Strong Convictions, and Underneath the Blood.

haha haze and daze... well, at least they are consistant. Anyways, I love the live hard rocking modern rock sound of this album. It really jams.

This album was tottally different than the two previous. This is more roots rock and guitar driven. Not too bad, but to me sounds a little thin. This is where all the member changes started happening too and you can almost hear it starting to happen in the music. I think that if Greg were singing on this, it might have been more of a listenable album to me. I did like 'Underneath the Blood' and 'Midnight Oil' though. It is a good album, just not their best. Praise God for Petra!

WHy did Petra leave the Elefants? This album is weak, it sounds like before 'This Means War.' Thankfully they never used Brown Bannster again, although 'Just reach out.' is a gem.
