so sad to see such a great band go for a 'fad' sound. not their best work
From: chris   (IP unknown) Date: June 25, 2002 at 16:38
Not that this is a bad album, if it had been any other band but guardian it probably would have sounded better to us people stuck in the 80's. that said, the album does grow in you but it doesn't get as much play as the first two albums with Jamie on vocals. good album to complete the collection and salvation is one of their better songs from any album

Chris, Jamie does the vocals on this record too. Maybe you knew that, but from your message above, it seems as though you thought it was a different singer for this one. That being said, this is my least favorite Guardian record. Too weird sounding. There are a couple of good moments, but this was a tremendous disappointment after such a great record in Buzz.

i am sorry, my wording wasn't the way i was thinking. i know jamie sang on this. i also know jamie didn't sing on the first album. so what i wanted to say was that this album doesn't get played as much as the first two alubms that jamie sang on (album #2&3). with that said i can not wait to get the 2nd adriangale alubm. you know about them? the new stuff jamie is working on with a sound like early guardian?

I haven't heard their stuff. Are you saying they sound like early Guardian or are you asking if that's the case?
From: chris   (IP unknown) Date: June 28, 2002 at 16:20
Tom, the band sounds like a heavier guardian. i think they are great. you can find them at kivelrecords.com and you can hear a couple of clips from the first album in the adriangale listening room. i think you will really like them, it is just good, clean fun rock.

Well, based on your feedback, Chris, and many others I've read since I recently checked them out, I've purchased AdrianGale's Feel the Fire CD. I don't have it yet, but I can't wait to get it! Thanks!

post and let me know what you think about it when you get it.

Hey Chris, I got the AdrianGale CD and it is good! Its so good to hear Jamie Rowe singing good ole' melodic hard rock again! Its also nice to hear someone out there still knows how to do a good GUITAR SOLO! That seems like a lost art nowadays. Anybody out there that likes Guardian will definitely like AdrianGale.

Tom, Chris---I have ordered the new AdrainGale cd -replugged- and will let you know about that one when it comes in. I think it will be awesome. You guys should check out jamierowe.com and keep up with what Jamie is doing.

Got my AdrianGale-reprogram in and i must say it is really good. Right on par with the first. you won't be let down by this great work of hard rock
From: Bob   (IP unknown) Date: November 29, 2003 at 18:50
I wasn't too impressed with this album, all of the songs sound the same. Earlier work was much better in that respect.
From: Scott   (IP unknown) Date: January 5, 2004 at 14:08
Utter rubbish. Guardian attempting to follow the trends and losing themselves in the process. The title track makes me want to vomit! Oh how I long for the glory days of metal when Tony was allowed to play a guitar solo and Jamie actually sang! Need a copy? Located in a cut out bin near you.

You won't need this album. Check out their earlier releases instead.

this is the first guardian cd that i've bought. i thought it was catchy and origional. can't say if i like any of their other stuff, can't even find their older stuff at a reasonable price. I like the Annie Lennox sound alike on bottlerocket

Buy used on ebay for 1 cent with no shipping cost or you got ripped off.......

I agree with Adam and Scott. I purchased this CD a couple days ago for $1.99 at FYI in the cut-out bin. I thought to myself, 'how bad can it be?' After all, it is Guardian, right? Let's just say, I wasted $1.99.
